Producing, stage management, and some other stuff!

THIS IS THE HODGEPODGE SECTION!

UConn Dramatic Arts’

24 Hour Play Festival

From 2021 to 2023, I was one of the lead organizers of a 24 Hour Play Festival for both undergraduate and graduate student participants at UConn.

Our biggest festival had 35 participants, and more audience members than that acting studio probably should have had in it. It was designed to help students take a break from the pressures of commercial theatre.

In addition to scheduling, recruiting, and hosting the event- I’ve also had two works featured in the festival, one I’ve directed and one I’ve written.

FOLLY ADIEU

Experimental, absurd, with 13 actors that were all wearing intricate masks, 1 larger than life pig puppet, and 73+ unique props, Folly Adieu was a dream to work on.

My first time production stage managing, I was thrown into the deep end.

Directed by Anthony Sellitto, written by Alyson Doyle, and presented as part of UConn Dramatic Arts’ D-Series.

VIDEO PRODUCTION & ANIMATION

From 2020 to 2023, I was lucky enough to be the student production assistant for the Sponsored Program Services training team at UConn Research. The videos at this link were created to help educate faculty on their grant allowances, while (hopefully) being entertaining.

Scripts were written in conjunction with Brenda Lowther and Erin Ballou. Working with them was always a great time, and I am incredibly grateful for the experience :)
